Quality CATS Fic Award WINNERS ~*~ TRISKELL AWARDS ~*~ These awards have a *high* standard (see guidelines below). If you don't think your site meets these criteria, please do not apply. I will be reviewing your page and I spend a lot of time on that. I believe I can say I'm fair - you will get a full 'report', stating the points subtracted and the reasons for it. If I can't accept your site's application or you haven't reached 20 points, then I will let you know. DESIGN AND LAYOUT (20 points) - appealing, clear overview of site and contents - colours/backgrounds/writing - graphics (look; originality; size) PRESENTATION (45 points) - *finished* sites! No rudimentary work-in-progress. - content (info, originality, new *ideas*) CLEAR ARRANGEMENT/NAVIGABILITY (10 points) - sections clearly divided and easily accessible? - sitemap, frames, 'back' buttons etc. (look, size, how easy to find, sub-sections) LOADING TIME (10 points) - not more than 1.5 min for entry page! - thumbnails! ("resized" 400 KB graphics are a no-no!) COPYRIGHT INFO/DISCLAIMER (5 points) - give credit for what isn't yours (guestworks, general) OTHER (10 points) - broken links and images - typos (I'm thorough!) - languages: English, German, French Excellence & Perfection: 100-90 points Superb Site: 89-70 points Lovely Site: 69-30 points any site that DOES NOT REACH a 20 point mark will automatically be disqualified. I write myself and I love nothing more than a well-written fanfiction. This award is my attempt to promote quality CATS fic and poetry on the net. "Quality" indicates not only good writing itself (plot, style, originality), but also the presentation of the work, the effort taken by the authors to offer their readers an enjoyable experience. Please pay close attention to the *criteria* and *guidelines* - The final decision rests with me. I consider myself to be fair, but very critical. LEGIBILITY - formatting (paragraphs, no sidewards scrolling) - few typos; *no* misspelled (character) names; grammar! HEADER - disclaimer (e.g. CATS belong to RUG) - author's contact info (email/website url) - warnings/ratings clearly visible & explained WRITING - all styles & any length accepted (short story, novel, poetry...) - all manner of content (drama, angst, violence) & pairings (incl. slash) accepted - above *only* if properly labelled!
